‘Burn’ by Super8 & Tab featuring Hero Bladwin already gained support from Armin van Buuren by getting a feature on the ASOT 2018 compilation. The track contains huge synths, a happy break and a catchy vocal. In summary: ‘Burn’ sounds destined to be successful.
Taken from the second part of Super8 & Tab’s album ‘Reformation’, ‘Burn’ sees the Finnish duo team with HERO for a truly magical production. Super8 & Tab may already be among Trance’s greatest, but that doesn’t stop them from pushing the envelope every single time. Going bigger and better – or harder and more energetic – whenever the crowd or their new-found inspiration demands it, the Finnish masterminds always give that little bit extra and now do so again with their brand-new album: ‘Reformation’.
In this first part of the album, Super8 & Tab drop some of the masterpieces that not only spiked their insane mainstage set at A State Of Trance 800 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, but also drove Trance fans mad with excitement across the globe. From the previously unreleased ‘Seconds Away’ to known fan favorites such as ‘Cosmo’, ‘Falling Into You’ (feat. Jonny Rose) and unrivaled bombshell ‘Mega’, this first part of the ‘Reformation’ album can only exceed your expectations.

“…a veritable big room anthem made for the stadium…
…Sarah DeCourcy’s vocals compliment the piece’s cavernous, robotic synthwork…”
Following on from ‘Cosmo’, ‘Falling Into You’, Beatport #1 hit ‘Mega’ and last month’s release ‘True Love’, Super8 & Tab’s latest single ‘Seconds Away’, featuring Sarah De Courcy, looks set to continue their massive run of success. Premiering on Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance radio show and on dance music bible Dancing Astronaut, the single is already beginning to burn up the forums and blogosphere.
With UK singer DeCourcy on vocals, the track opens up undulating violently but superbly creating instantaneously huge energy. The pair perfectly execute when to dial the production back allowing room for DeCourcy’s at times slick, at times ethereal vocal to breathe.
After their massive set at Tranceformations in Poland earlier in February, Janne Mansnerus spoke about how hard it had been to keep the track under wraps until only a week before ‘Reformation: Part 1’ dropped. “We first played Seconds Away live at ASOT 800 in Utricht back in February 2017,” he said.“Ever since it’s been hard to keep this track as an ID but finally now we can release it. We wanted to create something a bit different and had this baseline idea but it was Sarah deCourcy’s vocals that really took this track to a totally new level. She’s an amazing talented artist!”
A masterclass in creating dynamic segues from roaring big room passages through to spine-tingling ‘hands-in-the-air’ moments, ‘Seconds Away’ will surely feature heavily across dance floors, radio stations and festival arenas the world over in the coming months.
With ‘Reformation: Part 1’ dropping Friday next week (February 23rd) and more new music set to drop from ‘Reformation: Part 2’ across the next couple of months, Super8 & Tab have undoubtedly cranked up the pressure even further as 2018 opens up.
One of the most highly-anticipated Super8 & Tab tunes since it blew away a crowd of thousands strong as the opening track of their ASOT 800 mainstage set, ‘Seconds Away’ finally sees its release. Taken from part 1 of the Finnish duo’s ‘Revelation’ album, this cut is destined to wreak havoc the world over and shows that a link-up between Super8 & Tab and Sarah deCourcy truly is a match made in heaven.
Happy Friday everyone!

For artistic creativity to truly flourish, change is an unavoidable necessity. When Finnish trance icons Super8 & Tab made the move to Armada Music, the shock transition turned out some of their most electrifying tracks to date – ‘Cosmo’, ‘Falling Into You’ and the immense Beatport #1 juggernaut ‘Mega’. It was a move that ultimately led to the release of their third studio album ‘Reformation’, with Part 1 available to pre-order today at (LINK) and set for release on February 23rd.
The long player sees the pair finetune their craft with jaw dropping precision, encapsulating the classic essence of trance music while bringing in new sounds and techniques honed and perfected over a decade’s work deep in the world’s best studios. Tracks like Part 1’s ‘Seconds Away’, Armin-favourite ‘Pressure’, ‘Cosmo’, the goliath ‘Mega’ and ‘Falling Into You’, with Jonny Rose on vocals, not only showcase Janne Mansnerus and Miika Eloranta’s relentless pursuit of musical integrity and their innate ability to produce beautiful music, but also highlight their place driving the current shift in trance towards more euphoric, melodic and vocal-led compositions.
“‘Reformation’ has been about keeping that forward momentum going,” Janne says. “We’ve tried to break old habits, bringing new elements to the music and how we work in the studio. We have a new label and a new team of people working on our team. This all creates a whole new vibe.”
Nowhere is that more evident than in new single ‘True Love’, out for worldwide release today. Featuring Sweden’s Envy Monroe on the top line, the track is a triumphant tour de force in exhilaration, a ‘hands in the air’ monster that dives down into thundering bass sections, climbs the sides of expansive synth arpeggios, soars across delicately syncopating keyboards and Monroe’s vocal, rushes alongside driving percussion. No wonder Armin van Buuren chose to premiere the single on his ASOT radio show this week, marking yet another Super8 & Tab single the Dutch legend has thrown his full weight behind.
“With so much evolution and change within Super8 & Tab, it’s hard not to feel a strong sense of anticipation,” Miika reflects. “Everything feels so exciting again to me. It feels like it did back in the days when we were releasing our first tracks. It’s time to take that excitement on tour and to the clubs and really see it developing into new dimensions.”
Fans will be able to catch Super8 & Tab live at shows around the world over the coming months. For more updates, musc news and all things Super8 & Tab, visit www.super8andtab.com.
After an astonishingly strong series of releases so far in 2017, Super8 & Tab aren’t ready to leave the year without creating a bit more of a bang, and it comes in the form of their newest single ‘Pressure’. Today, the trance duo’s brilliant release saw its release on Armind and shows the duo going back to their trancier roots.
While the well-crafted build-up of ‘Pressure’ piles on the thrill, its impervious synths and exciting melody finish it all off in style. All put together, it’s a record aimed at the dancefloor and one sure to get fans to go wild.
Throughout the years, Super8 & Tab have seen their tracks played by Trance’s finest, of which Armin van Buuren seems to be one of their most dedicated supporters, playing almost all of Super8 & Tab’s productions in his live sets, A State Of Trance radio show or both. And since ‘Pressure’ has already made its debut at the mainstage of Ultra Japan, it seems that this new offering from the Finnish mainstays is gearing up to dominate global festivals and club scenes alike.
