But for now, just listen to ‘Ticket To Jupiter’ here.

Ever since Electronic Family 2017 anthem ‘BombSquadKittens’ shook the very foundations of the outdoor Trance festival, fans have been longing for its official follow-up. That moment has arrived today, as Ben Gold teams up with Ruben de Ronde and Rodg again for ‘Two’, their second collaboration and the second single of Chapter One of Ben Gold’s forthcoming debut album, ‘Sound Advice’.
One of the most anthemic singles on Ben Gold’s forthcoming album (‘Sound Advice – Chapter One’, set for release on May 4 this year), ‘Two’ sees the U.K. DJ, producer and label owner team up with Dutch heroes Ruben de Ronde and Rodg for a second time. Blending a beautifully balanced arrangement with three different sound brands and a melody that proves catchy as hell, this cut shows that trice the fun equals two times the quality on all fronts.
Ben Gold: “’Two’ is the second record the three of us have written together, hence the title. We had so much fun crafting up the Electronic Family anthem last year and as I was writing my album, it was a great opportunity for us to team up again. We all played a key part in the writing process of the track and this really shines through in ‘Two’. It was a joy and pleasure to work with these guys, as always.”
Ruben de Ronde: “This is the third time I’ve worked with Ben on a tune and the second time that Rodg is in on the fun too. Even though our styles are a fair bit different, I feel we always come up with something that meets in the middle. I meet Ben everywhere around the world and being able to work with a man like this – and to have Rodg as part of the team-up as well – is always a pleasure.
Rodg: “After the success of ‘BombSquadKittens’, I was very excited to hit the studio again with these two guys to make some more magic happen. I think the result is a perfect fusion of our styles and that it will fit right in with all of our respective DJ sets.”
Rodg sure knows what makes any dance music lover tick. His signature sound has proven to be among the most recognizable and infectious across the scene and he doesn’t pull any punches now. Fierce and energetic, ‘U Got U’ is sure to make its impact on stages across the world.
Let’s grab it HERE
Here we go with a super dope release, one of our personal favorite artists, Rodg teams up with another Dutch talent, Roovel to deliver “Fast Lane” on Statement!
Let’s see what they say about it:
RODG: “After being friends for a while and sharing interest in music we decided to do a record together… Roovel has been touring with me a couple of times and we found out we have the same interest in music so doing a record together was nothing more than a natural follow up on that. With Fast Lane as the result. The title “Fast Lane” came up after touring to a couple of places in a high pace, we really had the feeling being in the “Fast Lane” going in and out of hotels and on and off planes”.
ROOVEL: “‘Fast Lane’ for me is starting this year with a bang! It’s an inspiring collaboration between two friends and with a real dancefloor filler as end result.”
Showing the leap-and-bounds growth of the Rodg empire, ‘Fast Lane’ marks a marvelous team-up between the rare-breed Dutchman and fellow-countryman Roovel. Spiked with racing arpeggios and soaring lead synths, this mixture of two remarkable signature sounds could very well become their shortcut to the top.
Let’s grab it here
In a world jam-packed with one-hit wonders, extremely consistent producers of dance music have always been sought-after. And that makes Rodg one of the rare-breed. The humble Dutchman is one of the best kept Armada Music secrets, delivering top-notch releases on a regular basis.
An impressive string of features on various Armada compilations proved to be the stepping stone for Rodg, renowned for a sound that sticks out. Since, he has put out a slew of genre-defying cuts, changing the game entirely through massive collaborations and solid remixes for artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren, Solid Stone, Cosmic Gate and Ruben de Ronde.
Thanks to extensive support from a gamut of top-tier performers (e.g. Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Max Graham, Markus Schulz, and Ruben de Ronde), Rodg has been getting the recognition he deserves, even touted “One of the best producers of 2016” by Armin van Buuren. Seeing his in-studio diligence pay off, Rodg released his debut album in mid-2016 and grabbed early support from Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery and Above & Beyond, all the while riding the US airwaves with title track ‘High On Life’, which accumulated over one-and-a-half million streams on Spotify.
But the story doesn’t stop there. After countless collaborations with long-time friend and production partner Ruben de Ronde, on comes a collaborative effort that drops jaws and pushes their sound onto an even higher level. With their joint album called ‘Togetherr’, Rodg and Ruben de Ronde drop a body of work so sensational it not only serves as a testament to their consistent high-quality output, but also spotlights a synergy that knows no equal.
On the live front, the Rodg sound has become inseparable from Armin van Buuren’s live sets and the Dutchman himself has since brandished his own sonic blend at A State Of Trance shows in Utrecht, Ibiza, and Mexico, Armada Nights, and various other unforgettable shows. He is the workhorse of the Armada family and a mainstay on countless worldwide Dance compilations. He is the present and the future of Electronic Dance Music, yet seemingly always underrated. He is Rodg.
Hailing from a small city near Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Roovel is staking his claim as one of the most exciting prospects in the electronic music game. Before venturing beyond his role as a behind-the-scenes producer, he composed audio for some of dance music’s hottest brands and crafted up the anthems for respectively Amsterdam Music Festival 2015 (‘Skylights’) and The Flying Dutch 2016 (his remix of ‘Limitless’ (feat. Rupert Blackman)), reaching an audience of millions strong with his severely infectious signature sounds. Starting 2018 with a bang, Roovel comes fresh from pairing up with Rodg for Statement! smash ‘Fast Lane’ and is gearing up to unleash more top-shelf records across this year and the next.

Electronic Family was a blast!
We were there on Sunday 06th August and really experienced an amazing festival. The new location is absolutely stunning and the stages were amazing.
Bonus: we’ve been graced with the perfect weather, sun was shining and the temperature was definitely enjoyable.
Rodg opened the mainstage at midday with a mesmerizing 2 hours set in which he played a lot of new tunes we are dying to see released.
Right after him, the beautiful and talented Emma Hewitt introduced Statement! label’s owner Ruben de Ronde who took the stage with a bang! Rodg and Orjan Nilsen also joined him to play ‘Booya’ taken from the album ‘TogetheRR’ ( physical CDs have been released these days…stay tuned for more info).
We joined Rodg and Ruben for a funny chat backstage…we think this might put a smile on your face.

TBA: Last time we talked it was at ASOT, what happened since then?
RdR: Well, lots of things, ASOT feels actually like 2 years ago, so much stuff in the meanwhile, also a lot of new stuff together and there’ s lot more to come.
TBA: So will we get something new from you two, together?
RdR and Rodg: Never say never.
Rodg: We’re definitely working on getting some remixes done from the album, some new versions will be released soon.
TBA: And what are you working on separately?
RdR: Our own stuff, we’re just making new tracks, new remixes…
Rodg : Actually I am working on loads of new tracks but need to finish them first before I can tell you more.
RdR: I did a remix for Saving Light, (Greth emery & Standerwick – Saving Light – feat. HALIENE) it’s signed now , out at the end of this month, I can finally say it, it’s a Premiere!!
TBA: You both just played at Tomorrowland, how was that?
Rodg: Wow it was crazy, we were the first act on stage and we didn’t have big expectations but there was a really good crowd before we even started and we saw the room filling up within a hour, it was completely packed and the stage production was crazy..
TBA : Was it a bit intimidating?
RdR: Yeah almost
Rodg: Well you know, first you are really focused in putting together a good show and afterwards you are like: wow this was sick!!
RdR : And for both of us it was the first time playing at Tomorrowland so it was a big thing!
TBA: And how was playing here at Electronic family?
Rodg: It was good, I did the first two hours on the mainstage, like a daybreak set, people were coming in, sun was out…and I enjoyed it very much, you can play around with the tension a little bit, you can do some more experimental stuff.
Ruben was playing after me and I kinda knew which records he was playing so I had to be a little bit creative!
RdR: Actually I texted him this morning asking him what he was going to play of our album and his answer was “Nothing” …
He only played ‘Pull a Lewie’
Rodg: I couldn’t play those tunes, he had to play them!
RdR: But… he played a lot of his own new stuff so it’s good!
We also made sure that their cats were doing great and asked Rodg about all those snaps about water and coffee spilled in his office…and made a couple of funny jokes, and when we asked Rodg to describe his parner in crime the answer was:
“He’s handsome, he’s a nice guy and….He makes amazing music”
Well, we certainly agree on that 100%!
It’s all for now, we just can’t wait to share with you their next tunes!
