Hot on the heels of dropping masterstroke single ‘Sunrise’ (feat. April Bender) to add considerable weight to his Armada Music comeback, Russian star ARTY immediately hits again with another shot of his trademark sound for the Amsterdam-based record label’s 15-year anniversary celebrations. Bearing the 15th anniversary stamp, ‘Rain’ emerges as both a solid offering and a telling precursor for the trove of phenomenal cuts ARTY intends to unleash throughout this year and the next.

Listen to ARTY – RAIN

Mesmeric and beautiful like a gentle drizzle on a warm spring day, ‘Rain’ offers a downpour of emotion no dance music fan can resist. Embellished by tiny synth drops and cascading melodies, this cut invigorates parties and nightlife scenes all over the world and will prove a fan favorite in no time.

ARTY: “Rain is my favorite weather by far, and I’ve always wanted to express my love for rain in a song. With ‘Rain’, I set out to describe the feeling of sadness and melancholy as well as the uplifting emotions that rain always brings me. It has less vocals and a bigger club vibe compared to its predecessor ‘Sunrise’, so people can enjoy the instruments surrounding the upbeat production.”

Born Artem Stoliarov (or Arty for short), ARTY is without doubt one of electronic music’s most consistent acts. After breaking into the scene in 2009 at the age of 19, he quickly began to turn heads across the dance music realm, releasing his music on a range of top-tier labels while churning out remixes for the likes of Halsey (‘Hurricane’ – over 47 million streams), OneRepublic, London Grammar, Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson and Years & Years. Now residing in Los Angeles, ARTY performs at the biggest festivals and clubs in the world (e.g. Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa, Amnesia Ibiza, Creamfields), clocks up millions of streams on Spotify and keeps his Trance roots alive by churning out top-drawer singles under his globally acclaimed ALPHA 9 moniker. ARTY is rightfully considered one of dance music’s hottest acts and ‘Rain’ shows exactly why. //

Whenever you decide upon taking a road trip, holiday or just all-around journey through life as a whole, what matters isn’t where you start and stop. The beauty of the experience is found in the in-between, in the breathtaking moments that you’d miss out on if you were to just hop from A to B and take shortcuts. Applying that very same notion to his music, Sebastian Davidson took his time to capture the essence of such a journey and somehow managed to fuse it with his unmistakably magical signature sound. The result is a stellar debut album that puts his peerless production skill and shimmering soundscapes fully on the map: ‘Atlas Of Adventures’.

Listen to Sebastian Davidson – Atlas Of Adventures

‘Atlas Of Adventures’ sees Dutch producer Sebastian Davidson offer music fans the chance to explore the sonic panoramas and impeccable views of a kaleidoscopic body of work. A spark of uncharted brilliance many a listener could lose himself in for all eternity, the album inspires and enchants through twelve tales of inconceivable beauty and mesmerism, including wondrous excursions such as ‘Father, Mother, Brother’, ’Alpenglow’ and ‘Klapp’ (with Claes Rosen). The mirror image of a world untainted and untarnished, ‘Atlas Of Adventures’ shows that A and B are mere stepping stones to the greater picture. And that picture, that canvas of brilliant colors and irresistible songs, truly is dazzling.

If all you’ve heard from Sebastian Davidson so far rapidly charmed its way into your heart and mind, you’re going to like the delicious soundscapes that comprise his debut album. Through ‘Atlas Of Adventures’, the Dutchman offers dance music fans the chance to explore a kaleidoscopic body of work full of sonic panoramas and impeccable views any listener could lose himself in for all eternity.

A spark of brilliance still left uncharted by most, ‘Atlas Of Adventures’ offers an experience that inspires, enchants and fuels countless tales of inconceivable beauty and mesmerism, backed up by wondrous excursions such as ‘Father, Mother, Brother’, ’Alpenglow’ and ‘Klapp’ (with Claes Rosen). Want to dive into this shimmering world and never look back? Open up the ‘Atlas Of Adventures’ and begin your journey.

Sebastian Davidson“Over the past year, I have been pouring myself into this album, drawing inspiration from my love for peaceful and untouched landscapes to discover my own sound. it has been the most rewarding, musically personal work I have ever done. It’s a new chapter that started out with ‘Alpenglow’ and ‘Father, Mother, Being’ being test songs to see if I could express my ideas. Both songs helped me a lot in defining the direction of my album and I dare say it’s everything I wanted it to be.”

A vast landscape, stretching out past the horizon. Dutch producer and DJ Sebastian Davidson’s music is a panoramic snapshot you want to dive into and explore. His tracks are a creative spur of the moment, clean at the core and rough around the edges. Deep house is the stylistic foundation of Davidson’s explorations, which are both musical and emotional. Getting lost and finding your way back, longing and wandering melodies, accompanied by mood setting beats, breaks and four to the floor. Diverse in style, deep and mostly downtempo, but firmly rooted in progressive and melodic house. Although technically a debut, the album is the culmination of years of gigs across the globe, from L.A. to Ibiza to Tokyo, experimenting and growing as a producer. ATLAS OF ADVENTURES is Davidson’s most personal project to date and comes closest to the core of what he wants to express artistically.

If you’ve started to feel a change in the weather, more warmth in the air or sun on your face, all we can say is… lucky, lucky you!

f not, well hey… join the club! The sun’s been an all too scarce a sight through VANDIT’s window too. Frankly we could use a ray or two to break the cloud, and right on cue, Alex Ryan’s delivered them

Hailing from that current hotbed of trance talent, Dubliner Alex blazed the trail for his VANDIT debut throughout 2017 with outings like ‘Visions’, ‘Connect’ and ‘Lahore’.

Sporting the sunniest of musical dispositions from its very first bar, Alex layers radiant pads, temperate bass and elegant strings into its formative production quarter. With the calling, heartstring-tugging strains of its lamenting male harmonies, in the break he doesn’t let the temperature drop by a single degree. Setting up a killer payoff, through a luminously exultant synth updraft, he serves it to the floor in no uncertain terms.

Six minutes and fifty seconds of trance perfection you really don’t wanna miss this month, ‘Atlantis’ from Alex Ryan is now through VANDIT and available here ! You can also catch a listen via VANDIT’s Soundcloud here:

14TH JUNE 2018

Two of Ibiza’s biggest parties come together in Barcelona on the 14th June 2018 to host Warriors Do Not Sleep. Steve Lawler (Warriors) and Darius Syrossian (Do Not Sleep) join forces to bring their respective parties under one roof in Barcelona’s, La Terrrazza club, as part of this year’s OFF week, Barcelona.

Warriors, began life at Sankey’s Ibiza in 2012 and is the extension of Lawler’s Viva imprint. Likewise, Do Not Sleep shares similar white isle roots, having launched at Booom Ibiza in 2014, followed by residencies at Privilege, Space and Sankeys. They have recently announced their new spiritual home for the upcoming season will be Ibiza’s Amnesia.

Flying the flag for quality music, both parties share the same vision of bringing no-nonsense, non-conformist house and techno to their crowds.

Having both held their own, taking Ibiza by storm, Warriors Do Not Sleep is set to replicate their impact in Barcelona as they play in La Terrrazza for the first time. Lawler and Syrossian head up the line-up, playing together as they represent the coming together of their event brands. However, the excitement does not stop there as Anja Schneider, Nick Curly, Hector Couto and Emanuel Satie also join the line up; all of which promise to bring equally stellar performances.

In addition to the line-up, the venue, La Terrrazza, also provides means for excitement. An open-air club set upon the mountain of Montjuic in Barcelona that prides itself on atmospheric décor, it is the only venue of its kind in Barcelona.

Steve Lawler (Viva/Warriors)

Warriors founder and Viva Music owner, Steve Lawler, is 90’s dance music heavyweight, who’s career and successes are wide-ranging. Beginning his career organising illegal raves under the M42 in the 90’s, he rose through the ranks to hold residencies at some of London and Ibiza’s most notable venues, such as The End, London and Ibiza’s Balearic club, Space, at which he earned the name ‘The King of Space’.

Darius Syrossian (Do Not Sleep)

Do Not Sleep’s, Darius Syrossian followed hot on the heels of Lawler, taking the Do Not Sleep party to Space, Ibiza. Playing all major clubs and festivals worldwide, his individual style and love of music has seen him pick up the DJ Mag Best of British award and help establish the brands own music imprint; Do Not Sleep.

Anja Schneider (Mobilee/Sous Music)

Harking from Germany, Anja Schneider is a woman of boundless possibilities; a DJ, producer, two-time label boss, radio broadcaster and mentor. She is regarded as one of the hardest working in the industry today. With a keen ear for uncovering what’s next, Schneider’s spirit is reflected in her style as a DJ; forward-thinking and boundary slaying.

Nick Curly (Cecille Records/8bit/Knee Deep In Sound/Truesoul/Drumcode)

With a decade of experience under his belt, Nick Curly, has been heavily instrumental in defining the sound of underground. Having established numerous labels and recently his own party, Trust; a bi-annual residency at Berlin’s notorious river-side club, Watergate. Curly has refined his own signature sound, instilled with self-assurance and a puncheon for quality.

Hector Couto (Hot Creations/20/20 Vision/Get Physical/Moon Harbour/Defected)

Highly respected house DJ and producer, Hector Couto, has quickly gained recognition for his unique sound that is described as the perfect blend of Chicago house and old-school techno. His experience playing at some of the world’s biggest dance institutes allows him to replicate his groovy style of DJing, that promises to bring real vibes to any party.

Emanuel Satie (Saved Records/Get Physical/Knee Deep In Sound)

Berlin based producer, with material released on high tier labels such as Saved Records, Get Physical and Knee Deep In Sound, it is clear to see that Satie is nothing short of the real deal.

Armin van Buuren plus mainstage equals madness. It’s as simple as that. After all, he’s been voted the #1 DJ in the world for an unprecedented five times for a reason. If you’re after the most spectacular, unbridled and tempestuous live set of the year, you may want to chalk this one up as a top contender.

Fans may have had to wait for a while, but their patience is soon to be rewarded as Estiva has finally announced his second artist album, ‘Spectacle’. Live on the ASOT stage at Ultra Music Festival Miami past Sunday, the Dutchman unleashed the first few tracks of his forthcoming album, including a phenomenal team-up with longtime friend Ruben de Ronde: ‘Rainbow’.

Listen to Ruben de Ronde X Estiva – Rainbow

Lighting up the sky with its shimmering colors, ‘Rainbow’ sees Ruben de Ronde and Estiva return to Statement! for another brush of brilliance. Able to make any dance music fan’s day a whole lot brighter, this formidable collaboration between the two Progressive Trance mainstays should prove a great sign of things to come from Estiva’s long-anticipated second artist album.

Estiva: “’Rainbow’ pushes our melodic limits; we both wanted to add something substantial. The track is a perfect example of that sparkling magic you can achieve when working together. Think of it this way: we both gathered our tastiest ingredients, put  them in a blender and got a delicious ‘Rainbow’ smoothie as a result.”
