THE BACKSTAGE ACCESS IBIZA’S WEEK: ARMIN VAN BUUREN @ USHUAÏA

Dance music icon and EDM figurehead Armin van Buuren is returning to Ibiza this summer, announcing six headline shows at Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer performed on Ushuaïa Ibiza’s world-famous poolside stage on 9th June and 26th June (we were there!!!) before heading to cutting-edge sister club Hï Ibiza on August 22nd and 29th. The Dutchman will then return to legendary open-air venue Ushuaïa Ibiza to close out the season with two final shows on 18th and 25th September.

For more than two decades, Armin has been at the forefront of the global dance scene. His iconic A State of Trance radio show goes out to 44 million listeners in more than 80 countries and has clocked up more than 1000 episodes. His famous ‘Armin Only’ world tours are some of the most immersive and explosive in the live area and his own Armada Music label is the biggest independent outlet in the world. As a producer, he has worked with everyone from Alesso to Steve Aoki and is no stranger to the biggest stages in dance music.

These special shows are all taking trance into untold and unmissable territory this summer.

And if you know us you know that…When summer hits us…We go to Ibiza, that’s a no brainer for The Backstage Access; and flying our way down to the White Island for a special event like Armin van Buuren at Ushuaïa , it’s surely on the top of our to do list.

We are blessed to know this majestic open air club very well as we’ve spent so many summer nights wandering around the luxurious pool and dancing around the whole location.

It’s amazing coming back here after the pandemic and finding the club in full swing, meeting up with all the familiar faces of Ushuaïa  family and hugging them all again!

Anther reason to be happy is…we just flew our way down from Italy during a hectic weekend where airlines were on strike and almost all the flights have been delayed or worse, cancelled, but WE FINALLY MADE IT…just on time to see our favorite dj playing on Sunday 26th of one of the hottest June ever!!

You know how much I love  Ushuaïa Ibiza and Armin van Buuren, I mean, this is a match made in heaven for me! Once again the king of trance went beyond my expectations, he built up a majestic set that literally made me dance like crazy without a care in the world! The way he interacts with the crowd is pure magic, we felt so connected with him and the music that we almost forgot to take some pictures and video for the blog (and of course for the jealous friends and followers out there..LOL)

Have to thank the Night League for being so lovely and for giving us the chance to live such a great night and for always making us feel special and pampered, you guys are amazing!!
