Are you still following our Balearic adventures trough the craziest parties in Ibiza?
Well, this one is something to blow your minds!
We came back to Hï Ibiza for the huge opening party of Afterlife, where Tale Of Us were kicking off the season on June 27th with a heavyweight lineup featuring Ben Klock, Maceo Plex, Marcel Dettmann, Mind Against, Rødhåd, Stephan Bodzin (Live), Tale Of Us and Vaal.
Âme, Dixon, Fjaak, Nina Kraviz, Recondite, Robert Hood, Solomun, Sven Väth and many more will perform later on throughout the season.
Returning to Thursday nights at Hï Ibiza, the boundary-pushing residency is aiming to showcase the best of underground talent over the 15-week run this summer, with the world renowned duo Tale Of Us closing the Theatre weekly.
The focus this season is largely on residencies, with multiple appearances from Adriatique, Amelie Lens, Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Mind Against, Recondite and Rødhåd.
There will also be sets from Afterlife label artists like Agents Of Time, Fideles and Mathame.
The second space (“Club”) develops the techno room concept further, with Etapp Kyle, Fjaak, Kobosil and Robert Hood amongst those channeling a dark and powerful, underground sound.
Setting themselves apart with music and production concepts designed for each space, Tale Of Us’ displays increasing interest in the wider spectrum of arts, with the night showcasing tailor-made visuals, bespoke lighting and installations.
Saying that we simply love Hï Ibiza is an understatement, so if you are wondering why we went there for the millionth time during our stay, well… it’s plain and simple one of the best clubs in the world, what’s not to love about it?
Go and see it for yourself, starting from the majestic iconic signature outside the venue (where taking a selfie is a must) to the led walls  letting you know what kind of party is going on inside, everything says “polished and modern”;  it offers a top-notch experience compared to the outdated facilities and overcrowding at some other locations.
For every party the club has a different personality being a huge chameleonic magical kingdom that adjusts to the night theme with super impressive visuals and installations.
And here we go on Thursday with the most iconic of them all: the upside down figurine hung below the crowd.
We’ve talked about it last year as well, when I was so shocked that at certain point a laser beam struck the head of the figurine making it looks like it was moving up….yeah I know what you are thinking: “Go home, you’re drunk ” but hell no, I was drop dead sober! 🙂
But let’s go back to the music, attending a Tale Of Us gig here, in the Theatre is something you should really experience, nothing but good vibes, melodic and trancey-techy beats.
The crowd is clearly pleased and happy, we had the feeling of being lost in space and time, floating in another beautiful dimension where the powerful state of the art sound system amazed us, whether front row or in the back, we always enjoyed crystal clear sound.
And when we felt like craving for something darker we sneaked into the Club (Room 2 ) and treated ourselves with a massive fix of Marcel Dettmann, the room is smaller, foggy and definitely oriented to the most techno-aholic of the clubbers so we needed to make a stop at the garden after it to chill a bit and let the whole action sunk in for a moment before we ran again to our beloved Theatre to sweat it all out again.
Do you think we had enough? Of course not, so we came back a week after to enjoy a second round, where we literally fell for Âme set;  we indulged on some of techno’s most in demand artists like Len Faki and Amelie Lens for  a while and then again, made our way back to the Theatre to enjoy the melodic techno of Tale Of us till the end.
When all is said and done, we had the night of our lives every time we went clubbing at Hï Ibiza, we highly recommend this club, leader in the nightlife scene and aiming to make you live a complete experience through music, lights and visuals!!
