B1. Körpermaschine

Ellen Allien launches her UFO Inc label with an EP that features epic title track ‘UFO’ on heavy rotation in her DJ sets all summer long.
Between UFO and the hard-hitting acid belter Körpermaschine the EP perfectly captures the energetic hardware sound of Allien’s new imprint, which will be dedicated to a rough and raw approach to contemporary techno.

According to the label founder herself UFO serves a mediator between earth and heaven, i.e. the concrete dancefloor and a feeling of transcendental rapture – the kind of track that lifts you up from where you dance and takes you away to new spheres. What starts off as a tough and understated banger slowly morphs into a unexpected journey full of twists and turns. Drawing from the tension between interlocking rhythmic elements and spheric synthesiser sounds, UFO is a perfect exercise in both suspension and the ecstasy that comes with release. Acid-tinged and cosmic at the same time, it must be considered the definite UFO Inc. manifesto: rough music from and for the here and now, opening a pathway into the greater unknown.

The flipside opens in stark contrast to the colourful palette of UFO. Körpermaschine accentuates the rough and raw, almost brutalist hardware aesthetics of UFO Inc. What begins as an uncompromising acid belter however results in an anthem style break in which the moods shifts abruptly before the kick enters the mix again, harsher and more punishing than before. Combining the straightforwardness of Berlin-style techno with the joyfulness that has always characterised Allien’s work, it is an ecstatic peak-time tune that serves as a perfect companion to UFO.

Music On Weekend 2019, the iconic musical experience hosted by Marco Carola, invites Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, Paco Osuna, Nic Fanciulli, Danny Teneglia and many more. The festival in Amsterdam will be preceded by shows in London, New York, Miami, Detroit, Las Vegas, and afterwards Music On will head to Ibiza for its 8th annual residency.
After the festival came home to the futuristic urban green area ‘Havenpark’ in 2018, the site will again lend its distinctive views to this years event. The natural enclave, dominated by the immense and dazzling windmills, became an overnight crowd favourite because of its accessibility and spacious landscape.
Music On was founded by Marco Carola to let the music speak for the experience, instead of deluding visitors to hollow phrases and overhyped artists. It meant a landmark change for the nightlife in Ibiza. He will be joined by Hot Creations’ founder Jamie Jones who’s signature sound has influenced many new acts on his label. The entertaining Martinez Brothers are among the most recognizable Music On Residents with their energetic blend of house and techno. And to finish off the first row of label managing guests is Desolat’s captain Loco Dice. We can only hope that he will continue his series of bass driven sets at Music On Festival.
The Amsterdam based Music On Festival became an almost overnight success when its premier edition in 2017 united fashion addicts with a love for quality techno music. The balearic experience was made complete by the arena like stage and the amazing weather that has stayed with the festival since.
May 11th and 12th at the Havenpark – Amsterdam. Tickets are available at:

For the first time in dance music history, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren and W&W have joined forces for a huge new track. Showcasing the iconic signature sounds of everyone in this all-star link-up, ‘Repeat After Me’ is set to unite dance music fans from all over the world.

Listen to the track here.

Easily one of the most epic collaborations of the year even though 2019 has only just begun, ‘Repeat After Me’ is an all-out mainstage anthem sure to cause some serious damage at the world’s biggest festivals, clubs and venues. Armed with the energetic signature sounds of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren and W&W, this high-impact live set highlight has set its sights on only one thing: dominating the global dance floor for decades to come.

While this is the first three-way team-up of the staple artists ever, there have been a number of two-side collaborations between them that generated a huge amount of momentum. While Armin van Buuren and W&W only just collaborated on the iconic ‘Ready To Rave’ (after previously making waves with ‘If It Ain’t Dutch’ and ‘#D Fat’), Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and W&W teamed up on mainstage bangers such as ‘Crowd Control’, ‘Arcade’ and Tomorrowland anthem ‘Waves’.

The release of ‘Repeat After Me’ is tied to the launch of a brand-new video. All in all, the blistering record and equally impressive music video make clear in no uncertain terms what you get when the #2, #4 and #14 DJs in the world decide to team up: a record so impactful you’ve got no choice but to hit repeat.

SHINOVI – Muriqui

Shinovi is coming out with his new single ‘Muriqui’! The track had already been played by Armin on the ‘A State Of Trance’ show so it definitely deserved a single release.

Listen to the track here.

Known for shattering expectations with a mere flick of the wrist, Shinovi once again raises the bar in terms of intensity. Exceedingly powerful and tempestuous, his brand-new release on Who’s Afraid Of 138?!, ‘Muriqui’, will have you pumping your fist and stomping your foot on the dance floor like a rampaging gorilla for the full duration of the madness.

It’s one of the highlights from his intention album and overall stunning track. Together with Belarusian producer Arston and singer-songwriter Vegas, Alexander Popov created a track you don’t want to miss!

Listen to the track here.

The eruptive vocals, embracing chords and Progressive House-flavored lead synths say it all. ‘In My Arms’ is one of the absolute highlights from Alexander Popov’s ‘Intention’ album. A collaboration with Belarusian producer Arston and singer-songwriter Vegas, this song is the reason you’ll be spending a lot of time on cloud nine.

The ‘Take Everything’ STANDERWICK Remix was personally requested by Gareth Emery after the massive success of STANDERWICK’s Remix of ‘Reckless’. The rock influenced remix with its angelic leads and Emma Hewitt’s stunning vocals truly is a masterpiece.

Snarling electric guitars and cavernous live drums signal the arrival of Standerwick’s searing, rock-influenced remix of ‘Take  Everything’. Seamlessly fusing his trademark edge and energy with angelic leads, this 136bpm beast prowls the depths with thunderous intent before a cathartic  melodic counterpoint ascends; delivering Emma Hewitt’s vocals to the heavens.

MAOR LEVI – Celestial

Maor Levi filled 2018 with smashing releases on Armada, Armind & collabs with Ilan Bluestone. Now he is back with his new track ‘Celestial’ and it sure won’t let you down!

Listen to the track here.

Built around a shimmering breakdown with dreamy background vocals and heavenly chord progressions, ‘Celestial’ sees Israeli mastermind Maor Levi deliver an absolute stunner of a record. From the big bassline to the serene melody and back, this song is like a higher power watching over us all from above.

For the first time ever, Armada Music is bringing its own event to Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS), one of the foremost music conferences and festivals in the Netherlands. On Friday, January 18, the world’s biggest independent dance music label will host its ‘Armada Invites’ showcase in Groningen-based night club Oost with performances from Belgian talents Stereoclip and Nico Morano.

The first name on the line-up for Armada Music’s ESNS showcase at Oost, Stereoclip has been making big waves in the scene with his own brand of deep, vocal-oriented, mysterious techno music. After the success of his first album (‘Hometown’), the Belgian talent released his second artist album, ‘Travel’, at the end of 2018. Many of the incredible singles on that eclectic electronic album will be showcased at ESNS on January 18.

Completing the two-part line-up of the ‘Armada Invites’ showcase, Nico Morano is known all throughout Belgium (and beyond) for his sophisticated signature sound: a blend of deep, melodic House adorned with a strong emotional touch. He has played hundreds of shows at highly respected clubs such as La Rocca, Café D’Anvers, Fuse, Ampere, Decadance and Kelly Palmer, esteemed festivals such as Paradise City Festival, Cirque Magique, Laundry Day, Ostend Beach, and Thé Dansant, and even world-renowned staple festival Tomorrowland.

Founded in order to stimulate and push the circulation of European music across the European continent and beyond, non-profit organisation ESNS hosts the renowned festival every year in Groningen, the Netherlands. Spanning four days, a host of acts of (exclusively) European origin and an almost full spectrum of musical styles, Eurosonic Noorderslag has played a pivotal role in the breakthrough of artists such as Shame, Her, Alma, Roosevelt, Aurora and Dua Lipa.
