Hey hey, wasn’t it what we were all waiting for after last week?

And here we go with the release of the next ASOT festival’s anthem, something really special and, if you ask us,  the most beautiful anthem of the last years!

Listen to ‘Lifting you Higher’ by Armin van Buuren HERE

Highly anticipated since seemingly forever, Armin van Buuren's anthem for A State of Trance 900 merges only the best qualities of Trance music into one all-encompassing masterpiece. Energetic, stunning and sensational in true anthem style, this cut will be 'Lifting You Higher' than ever before.
Superstar DJ elevated 60 metres into the sky as part of A State of Trance 900 announcement
ADE, the annual electronic music conference held in Amsterdam, was elevated to new heights as iconic DJ Armin van Buuren surprised fans and media with a special concert 60 metres above the ground in a very unique setting in the Dutch capital. Armin was joined by fans in a crane with a specially built DJ booth and gave them a one-of-a kind music experience.
The event, in celebration of his ASOT 900 theme ‘Lifting You Higher’, also saw Armin announce the first act to join him in Utrecht in the Netherlands for the upcoming ‘A State of Trance’ 900 landmark edition. One of the world’s leading electronic music acts Above & Beyond will join Armin Van Buuren for the upcoming special edition of ASOT. The last time the popular trio played the Dutch edition of ASOT was 7 years ago.
In addition to the show in Utrecht, ASOT will also head on a world tour in 2019 with shows taking place in Madrid, Spain and Kiev, Ukraine as well as many more yet to be announced.

Ever since Alexander Popov turned heads with his 2013 debut album ‘Personal Way’, he’s been looking for the right idea to turn into its follow-up. Inspired by the notion of human intention through modern philosophic books, the Russian DJ, producer and label owner translated his new-found insights into an assembly of peerless singles and amazing collaborations. The result is a wonderful second album able to shatter expectations: ‘Intention’.

Listen to Alexander Popov ‘Intention’ HERE

Comprising a whopping fourteen productions that range from high-octane title track ‘Intention’ and a mighty collaboration with Armin van Buuren called ‘Popcorn’ to a truckload of other unreleased tracks (e.g. ‘Always Connected’, ‘Nothing Is Over’, ‘In My Arms’), ‘Intention’ sees Alexander Popov head down the path he paved himself while cementing his place amongst dance music’s finest. His intention is to turn the world into one giant dance floor, and that’s exactly what this album is slated to accomplish. ‘Intention’: check. Execution: check. Brilliant album: double-check.

Alexander Popov: “The idea for this album came to me over a year ago, a few years after the release of my first album. I felt it was a good time to make the second one as I had a lot of ideas and collaborations that I wanted to put in one album. I have a few passions in my life; the first one, of course, is music, but the second one is books. I can’t say that I’m reading a lot, but I love it especially when I’m traveling by plane. While digging into modern philosophic books, I found the idea of human intention as a life-moving force in society to be one of the most inspiring ideas, so I decided to use that as the main theme of the album.”

Eelke Kleijn Releases New ‘Maschine’ EP As Final Two Singles Off Forthcoming ‘Moments Of Clarity’ Album

Following on from an incredibly busy summer which saw Eelke Kleijn sell out his DAYS like NIGHTS event series debut in North America as well as make his first ever Burning Man appearance playing from the iconicMayan Warrior art car, now the talented Dutch producer has released his ‘Maschine’ EP. Out now via his own imprint, the two tracks “Maschine 1.0” and “Maschine 2.0” mark the final two singles off his highly anticipated ‘Moments Of Clarity’ album due for release via his own imprint on November 16.

Listen to Eelke Kleijn – Maschine

“Maschine 1.0” opens with his signature percussive melody, setting the scene for the stunning two-part EP. Showcasing what Eelke Kleijn does best, the opening track intertwines beautiful orchestral strings with synths to create an uplifting and ethereal progressive soundscape. Taking things up a notch, “Maschine 2.0” which has enjoyed regular rotation in Solomun’s sets over the past year, begins with a strong hi-hat that immediately takes on a darker tonality. Dissident and jabbing ascending synths build to a dramatic drop with a pulsing bassline, forming a significantly different take from the first track yet still with echoes of the same melody, proving once again his ability to invoke a wide spectrum of emotions through his music.

As Kleijn gears up to drop his third album from his 15 year career, the variety of music that has already been released borrow from his background as a progressive deep house DJ as well as his work scoring Hollywood blockbusters such as “Rush,” “Parker,” and “This Means War.” From dancefloor anthems like “Punta Cana” and “The Calling” to the synth-pop inspired “Drive,” Kleijn also acknowledges the need for balance by including downtempo and ambient tunes such as the LP’s title track, “Moments Of Clarity,” drawing on his training as a classical pianist.

After returning to his home turf on October 20, Kleijn’s DAYS like NIGHTS teamed up with All Day I Dream guru Lee Burridge at Amsterdam Dance Event in The Netherlands as the two highly-respected labels and event series joined forces for the second time. Looking ahead, Kleijn heading to Istanbul in Turkey on November 22 to play at Zorlu Studio followed by a ten hour open-to-close set at Amsterdam’s legendary Thuishaven on December 1.

Giorgia Angiuli – Biography & Discography

Born in Puglia, also known as the heel of Italy’s boot, Giorgia is a classically trained musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Very early on she developed a strong interest for electronic music and started to experiment with new live techniques. The solo project of Giorgia Angiuli stylistically moves between pop, techno and house. She uses her voice to create a dreamy dimension intensified by the use of unique toy instruments. 2018 has been a record-breaking year for famed DJ/Producer and EDM heavyweight Artem ‘Arty’ Stoliarov a.k.a. ARTY. After starting 2018 with his single “Sunrise” going to #2 on US dance radio, ARTY continues to shock the dance world with over 17 new releases in just seven months between his ARTY and progressive trance-focused ALPHA 9 projects, including incredibly successful remixes for Skrillex, Above and Beyond, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and Armin Van Buuren — making him #1 in 2018 for most releases by any EDM artist.

ADE 2018 could not be that awesome without ARTY, and we’ve been lucky enough to catch up with him about his projects:

TBA: Congrats on your new single ‘Perfect Strangers’ what was the idea behind it?

A: For 2018, I wanted to get back to my roots and think about what my fans wanted to hear. To do that I had to think about what dance culture means to me in the first place. Perfect Strangers started as a powerful production I was using to start my DJ sets as a mashup with Up All Night. I wanted to have a deeper message to help vocalize my feelings for what this record is about, so I wrote the top line for it. To me, the dance community is all about people coming together as perfect strangers and sharing in our love for the music.

TBA: What are your plans in the near future in terms of touring and production?

A: I’m taking a break from touring at the end of this year to work in the studio and finish up all the songs I been working on because there’s been a lot of songs for both ARTY and ALPHA 9. I want to fully get ready for 2019 because I’m going to be playing a tour when I debut my next big single.

TBA: What about your alter ego ALPHA 9? Anything new coming up already?

A: I have a ton of ideas in the works, including some unexpected and experimental records. I’m taking the project more cinematic, and working with the deeper sounds. So far ALPHA 9 has stayed mostly instrumental, serving as my introduction to the project. For 2019, I’m working on more vocal songs.

TBA: Who was and is your biggest inspiration?

A: My biggest inspiration has always been Axwell, Eric Prydz, and Deadmau5. This year, straying from dance music a little, I’ve been listening to a lot of EDEN and London Grammar.

TBA: You have always been supported by the biggest names in the scene, is there someone you would like to collaborate with?

A: For ALPHA 9, I’d love to get back in the studio with Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond. I also want to collab with London Grammar because it would be cinematic and beautiful. For ARTY, I’d love to someday do something with Alesso where we could experiment together on a fresh take of progressive house music.

TBA: If you had the power to change something in the scene, what would you change?

A: I would change the fact that most of the musicians shouldn’t be scared of trying out new things. You don’t necessarily need to follow the trends that you see…you can look within yourself and be more open to following your heart.

TBA: You are living in L.A. now, right? How would you describe the music scene there?

A: It’s incredible. I think LA has the greatest amount of creative people in the city than any city in the world. Every person ends up living in LA because it’s a city of opportunities and has its own creative vibe. Just the fact that you can choose to either be completely locked down in the studio alone, or to do writing sessions, everything is more accessible.

TBA: Can you tell us a bit about the production process when you make a new tune?

A: Everything starts with the melody. Either I’m taking a shower, or making breakfast, or just thinking about different things. It’s a pretty random process how I come up with the melodies, but it always comes from the head first. If I sit just vibing on a midi keyboard it’s almost never happening.

ARTY has built an international following mixing his trademark big-room anthems with downtempo electronica year over year, showcasing his gift for translating club-focused sounds to the pop/radio format.  With nods to classic trance, Arty continues to produce under the moniker ALPHA 9, and is currently wrapping up a United States tour with special performances internationally.
With an XS Encore Las Vegas residency under his belt, and a pedigree of performances at Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa, Amnesia Ibiza, and Creamfields, Arty has established himself as one of the music industry’s most consistent artists, a prodigious talent, and has become a go-to for others artists, crafting immensely popular remixes for Skrillex, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Armin Van Buuren, Halsey, OneRepublic, London Grammar, Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, and Years & Years.

As a leading influence in the music scene and top 25 DJ, Arty has several new works of original music and collaborations set for release later this year. Last summer he toured in Asia, and played sold out shows in Ibiza with Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren. This summer he toured Japan, Russia, and played major festivals including EDC, Tomorrowland, and Dreamstate.

After June’s re-mastered, remixed and re-released ‘Out Of The Sky’, today heralds another single-rumble from Lange’s remarkable first LP, ‘Better Late Than Never’.

In the same manner as ‘Out Of The Sky’, the timeless ‘Songless’ has now been revisited. Lange, himself has given it an eleven-years-later recalibration, while Signum and Astuni & Manuel Le Saux have furnished it with a brace of more club-pointed remixes.

Featuring the extraordinary vocals of Jennifer Karr (who went on to write & sing on tracks with
Ferry Corsten, PvD, ATB and others), Lange’s re-mastering brings new definition & detail to ‘Songless’.

Signum meanwhile take all the fundamentals of the more downtempo original and port them into an exceptional full spectrum floor-grafter. Built for maximum traction, over 8+ minutes their driven, anytime-of-the-night retake steals breath vocally, while musically burning trainer rubber.

Not to be outdone, the remix calculus of Astuni & Manuel Le Saux version is geared exclusively for the primetime hours. Full of inciting snares, zero gravity synths and Jennifer’s affecting vocals, come the drop the Italian pair pull off a genuine how-did-they-do-that! production moment.

The Lange-remastered ‘Songless’ and Signum and Astuni & Manuel Le Saux remixes are out now and available to purchase or stream here: https://blackhole.choons.at/songless

Today, DJ/producer Bruno Martini has emerged with ‘Youngr’ (feat. Shaun Jacobs), released on Armada Music/Universal. The Brazilian star produced the fresh, upbeat House track in tandem with Timbaland (their second collaboration) and is featured in the song’s video along with Brazilian actor and drift car racer Fiuk.

Listen to Bruno Martini feat. Shaun Jacobs – Youngr

Watch the official music video of ‘Youngr’

Bruno Martini’s ‘Youngr’ truly is a cross-culture creation. The Brazilian DJ, producer and songwriter co-wrote the track with South Africa native Shaun Jacobs, and recorded it in L.A.’s West Lake Studios with American-born super producer Timbaland.

The video for ‘Youngr’ was shot in São Paulo, the hometown of 26-year-old Bruno Martini, and tells the  story of a young woman caught between a current (Fiuk) and ex-boyfriend (Martini), all filmed against the backdrop of spectacular drift car stunt performances.

In just a few years, Bruno Martini managed to build a following at some of the world’s biggest festivals and venues, including Creamfields UK, Tomorrowland, Parookaville in Germany and Hi Ibiza in Spain. His international smash called ‘Hear Me Now’ paved the way for the likes of ‘Sun Goes Down’, ‘Never Let Me Go’, ‘Road’, ‘Living on the Outside’, ‘Savages’ and other tracks, and enabled him to generate over 700 million streams along the way. This year, he created an official remix for Zedd’s ‘The Middle’ and worked with Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. In between festivals, Bruno Martini is working on his first album project, due for release next year.

Following a relentless touring schedule, David Gravell, like any true craftsman, took some time out to gather his thoughts and to engage with his work once again.
Fully refreshed, he is almost ready to present a new EP but first, he decided to tease us with something extraordinary!
Let’s take one of the most iconic tunes of the whole trance music history and drop it in the capable hands of our Dutch genius to obtain a nuclear fission of epic proportions!
Admit it, taking the risk to remix a masterpiece like Cafè Del Mar is surely not for the faint of heart, how could you possibly make that perfect tune even better?
Mr.Gravell’s visionary mind has the answer and it’s going to hit you like a tornado!
While mesmerizing vocals add emphasis to the well known dreamy melody, a nervous and acid synth line builds up to the climax exploding in an uber  destructive drop!
David Gravell tailored the perfect rework providing his magic touch to Cafè Del Mar, aiming to unleash a  devastating amount of energy right in your face!
You are warned:This tune won’t take no prisoners!
