With the unstoppable rage of a storm building from within, ‘Call To Arms’ sees Gareth Emery and Evan Henzi unleash a battle cry that echoes the turbulent inner landscape of a young singer-songwriter. Co-written by Gary Lightbody and Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, this searing Emery production calls upon listeners worldwide to raise their fists in solidarity as Evan Henzi’s emotive vocals signal a new dawn. A new global movement has arrived.

‘Call to Arms’ is the latest cutting-edge production from U.K. trance master Gareth Emery, who is known for his relentless boundary pushing and innate ability to eclipse expectations, and sets benchmarks in electronic music with every new release. Evan Henzi’s message of triumph over adversity as a survivor of child abuse is as compelling as his vocals are spine-tingling; with a refusal to remain silent, they roar to life over Emery’s thunderous, arena-ready track.

Fresh from selling out the 8500 capacity Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco with his encore Laserface arena show, Gareth Emery has further cemented himself as one of the most in-demand live DJs on the planet, and is just as exhilarating in front of a live televised audience of millions (Closing Ceremony of the 2015 European Games), as he is on any global festival main stage or sweaty club rammed with legions of fans. Add to that Emery’s starring role as EDM cult figure Brandon Bass in the Verizon TV series ‘We Are CVNT5’, his CEO position in ground-breaking music start-up ‘Choon’, him being a three-time recipient of A State Of Trance’s Tune of The Year award and his inexhaustible work rate on his own Garuda label, and you have a CV as varied as it is daunting.

We gave it to you straight, now we’re giving it to you spicy! ‘Safe From Harm’s on the summertime remix track. Caliente!

A first time pairing of Markus Schulz & Emma Hewitt, ‘Safe’s original vision became the quickest Schulz vid to pass the 1m views mark on YouTube and racked up stream & sales counts at comparable speed.

So happy with its reception was he that Markus has moved to expand its bandwidth further. He’s jumped back behind the mixing desk to give it a nighttime respray and gotten Giuseppe Ottaviani and Dylhen on the horn for some remix collaboration.

After the Original’s radio gift, Markus’ new ‘In Bloom’ mix puts ‘Safe From Harm’ on a more emotive footing. He hovers Emma’s vocal harmonies in the background, and in some epic minute-on-minute build, teasingly draws out its ascension. Tension at its apex, he stands the drums down, parachutes in the pianos & pads and puts Emma’s dazzling song centre in the spotlight.

Returning the remix favour started by Markus’ rework of Giuseppe’s ‘Ozone’, Signore Ottaviani gives ‘Safe’ the most primetime spin of the three. Big on bassy boom, XL on the drum signature and swift of tempo, his mix has late night determination square between its crosshairs. Emma’s song assumes its most anthemic feel yet as, post-break, Giuseppe uses mainline and chorus to effect its elevation.

Frontend, Coldharbour’s Dylhen’s revision cuts the treble & midrange to deepen ‘Safe’s profile. He takes a lower-slung tempo & more minimal arrangement and marries it to tweaking FX frequencies & moodily pervasive LFO. He allows shafts of melody in post-drop, but for ‘Safe’s cooler-ether redux, this is your stop.

Three new versions of ‘Safe From Harm’ to cast floors headlong into summer – stream for yourself here from today.

Once a classic, always a classic – ‘Out Of The Sky’ drops back out of the proverbial today, flanked by two exemplary remix revisions.

Producers on point are Omnia and Andres Sanchez and artistically they’ve taken the lead track from Lange’s heroic ‘Better Late Than Never’ album to some very special places indeed.

No introduction necessary, that man Omnia scripts a blissed-out summer’s kiss of a mix, and one that holds an instinctive connection with Sarah Howell’s imaginatively penned, magically touching song. The Ukrainian uses fluttering synths, thermally undulating bass, elegant chord structures and innate key changes to repoint the track for the season ahead.

The hombre from Madrid, Andres Sanchez has been conjuring fire on many a label over the last year or so – FSOE, WAO138?!, Subculture, Grotesque, ASOT and Flashover among ‘em. On his mix, he strengthens ‘Sky’s club form, reinforces its later-night floor credentials and brings a raft of sub-melodies and arena-filling synth elevation to its summit stages.

Two mixes broadening the appeal of a classic yet further still, the Omnia and Andres Sanchez mixes of ‘Out Of The Sky’ are available from today, here:

A man on a mission, British-Brazilian Producer-DJ, Wax Wings has wasted no time following his recent ‘Gravedance’ EP. Never taking his feet off the pedals remixing for the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Jimmy Edgar, Sofi Tukkur, Vok and George Fitzgerald; his latest musical output comes in the form of the ‘Whisper’ EP.

“The Whisper EP is here to draw you closer to the album sound, after a battering with ‘Gravedance’ you can dissolve into these tracks, or equally keep up that energy” – Wax Wings

Contrary to what the name may suggest, make no preconceptions, ‘Whisper’ is far from timid. A collection of hard hitting dancefloor tracks that work both individually and together as a complete collection of art, this EP optimizes Wax Wings’ unique sound spanning all manner of genres; dance music in all its iterations.

Sharing the same name as the EP itself, inaugural track ‘Whisper’ is deep and driving house track that layers classic house elements with tribal nuances and a warm looping vocal line. ‘The Touch’ combines powerful kicks and rolling rhythms with swirling piano elements, that carry a definitive air of optimism.

“Whisper is designed to work for range of moments, explore numerous emotions and of course dive into a variety of different genres.” Wax Wings

Contrastingly, the heavy droning bassline of ‘Never Come Back’ teamed with eerie synth melodies and breaky drum rhythms begin a descent into grittier depths. ‘Shame’ employs equally unswerving bass and breaks with reggae-style principles, giving the track a far dubbier feel than those that precede it. ‘Rain’ concludes the EP, taking small niceties from all other tracks from the release. Driving kicky rhythms and deep dubbing melodies, build to deliver a gripping bassline, serving as the outro to round off proceedings in true Wax Wings style.

A true artist with his fingertips in all manner of creative projects alongside his music; painting, fashion, photography, art direction. This multi-talented Producer-DJ has received major support from key figures in the music industry including B.Traits, Monki and Maya Jane Coles. Whilst also holding down a global residency for polysexual event He.She.They and a burgeoning globe trotter in his own right racking up the air miles between clubs like fabric (London), Watergate (Berlin), Pacha (Ibiza), Faust (Paris) and Sankeys (Tokyo) in support of the likes of Maya Janes Coles, Adam Beyer, Ellen Allien, Daniel Avery, and George Fitzgerald.

Sleeps counted less in weeks and more in days, the doors to SHINE – Ibiza’s new trance bastion unlock at Privilege’s Vista Club in early July. You know the dates, you know the day and you know the DJs (and if you don’t, those details are below!). You can have a reasonable guess at the music policy too, but the boys & girls at SHINE aren’t taking any chances there.

They dialled the Anthem Hotline and it was PvD who picked up. A between-albums project, under the Presents SHINE mantle, he rolled up sleeves and delivered a scene-setting encapsulation for his new residency.

Anthem by name and nature, the track wastes zero time in musically distilling the trance heart of Ibiza. Underpinned by a production as set-versatile as they come, Paul folds cyanic pads, temperate bass and chiming sub-melodies into its system. Super-heated key changes lift the track higher, before he draws its elements together, kissing them off fluently with a mainline that’s the very essence of Isla Blanca.

With DJ Mag commenting: “as moments in trance go this month, there’s few to beat its effect – 9/10, ‘SHINE’s ready to take you to some very special places indeed (though one in particular!). The one your brain will have on repeat all summer long, SHINE on that crazy island here from today or listen via Soundcloud here

Laced with the warm, seductive tones that Erick has become famed for, over the years, the track will also inherit a deeper mix from Morillo who’s teamed up with lifelong friend and fellow producer Harry Romero for release later this month. Inspired by the rich vocal delivery of Katch, ‘Cocoon’ marks the first time that the Colombian-Dominican American producer has teamed up with Canadian-born Andrew Cole, who was raised in Liverpool.

Performing as an opening act for a number of internationally renowned artists, including Elton John, Tom Jones, and Metallica, Cole continues his meteoric rise, following on from his acclaimed single ‘Colorblind’, which hit #11 in the Billboard charts.

Since its re-launch in 2015, Subliminal has distributed a strong slew of records including ‘Gone’ with Junolarc and Chris Child featuring Ora Solar. Best known for the instant success of his weekly ‘Sessions’ parties in New York, legendary producer Erick Morillo has hosted events like the annual road-blocking Subliminal Sessions parties in Miami at Winter Music Conference, and of course his iconic Subliminal Sessions parties at Pacha Ibiza.
