Subculture welcomes another trance futurist to its impressive roster today, as Factor B debuts on the label. The Aussie producer hit the release gas last year, with an anthem convoy that by the year’s end included ‘Invidius’, ‘Liberator’, ‘Origins’ and ‘Something Like A Cure’

‘Into The Light’ follows this April’s ‘White Rooms’ out of the gate and we’re going to chance our arm and say with it, we reckon Brendan Blatt’s topped the lot.

‘Into The Light’ got its first airing (where else but!) ASOT850 back in February. Inside Jaarbeurs it more than proved its mettle, when Brendan closed his Road To 1000 set with it. “Armin van Buuren, Solarstone and label boss John O’Callaghan are just some of the spinners who’ve since rallied to its radio & club cause, while DJ Mag UK scored it 8/10.”

To be clear, style and energy-wise ‘Into The Light’ is not kidding around! If your set of speakers is in need of something that doesn’t stint on sonic force, mass or motion, look no further. With a tempo that’s goes straight for the primetime jugular, more rousing sub-melody flow than the Jetstream and a heart as big as an ocean, ‘Into The Light’s got you covered. Full line up details below press release

Let’s check the Vatos Locos BPM festival aftermovie:

Hector has announced that he and his Vatos Locos crew will occupy Ibiza for a third season, set to dominate the island’s outdoor hotspots in what’ll be their biggest summer to date.

Demand for Vatos Locos in Ibiza has been gaining strength ever since Hector’s birthday celebration at Underground in 2016 with a residency following the year later. This summer they’re gearing up for some alfresco heat at Playa d’en Bossa’s El Patio and the iconic Benimussa Park. The crew know a thing or two about dismantling outdoor dancefloors since hosting their first party on Mexico’s Playa Del Carmen beach during the BPM Festival, so it’s about time Vatos Locos brought those open-air vibes to Ibiza.

Island favourite Benimussa Park will open its gates to Hector for his largest venue undertaking yet, across two dates in July and August, joined by staple VL members David Gtronic, Chad Andrew and Jamie Lie A Kwie, Randall M and Mahony.

El Patio will welcome Hector’s family in August, and once again for an unmissable September date that’ll see Hector tying in that quintessential VL experience with his first outdoor birthday bash on the island. While line-ups are still to be announced, there are special guest in store, so stay tuned.

Vatos Locos, a name that translates to “the crazy ones”, couldn’t be more suited to the hallowed shores of Ibiza – an island that attracts the most fervent of music lovers. With Hector championing cutting-edge artists who share the same principles of putting the music and vibe first whilst leaving egos at the door, VL parties are custom built for avid partygoers who’re on that dancefloor for the right reasons.

Elsewhere, Hector goes in solo with an appearance at Hï Ibiza under Black Coffee’s banner, a showdown at Privilege with the Resistance team and if you missed his birthday bash at El Patio, he returns to where it all began with a second celebration at Underground.

The Martinez Brothers got their  own showcase on July 12th as part of the Destinomakers event series, and this was something The Backstage Access could not miss.

Chrys and Steve Jr are well known across the globe and it’s safe to say they have a special place in the pulsating heart of Ibiza.

Educated and reared on house music through their fathers’ love of renowned house and disco institution, Paradise Garage, it is no surprise that the pair have become such a prolific DJ act. Regularly booked to play festivals and events globally, the brothers are mainstays on the island, having played at all major Ibiza hot spots whilst also holding down their residency at Circo Loco, but they graced the luxurious poolside party at Destino for the very first time.

Siblings Steve and Chris Martinez have managed to receive a tremendous amount of accolades since they started working in the New York City electronic music scene in the late 1990s. Making a unique style of house fusion that oftentimes blends elements of funk and Latin music within a thick, four-on-the-floor beat, The Martinez Brothers has managed to distinguish themselves apart from the myriad of other electronic acts existing in the sprawling New York music world.

Much like The Martinez Brothers, venue, Destino, requires little introduction. An outdoor day club with a vast poolside area and panoramic views, that offers powerful and specially curated poolside parties. Inviting some of the hottest Ibiza acts to play, The Martinez Brothers are no exception to this.

The brothers are known for going across the board in selection, bringing their own very unique brand of Disco infused jackin’ House and as expected they didn’t let us down during this very special occasion.

Despite the very hot waether, the location was crowded with styilish, classy pleople who didn’t miss a beat of their floor-killing performance.

Destino is known for being an exclusive venue and a must-see on the island and when we planned  to visit this famous poolside party, we made  sure to join early, because the fun begins at 4pm until 12am so we didn’t want to waste time and fully enjoy this breathtaking location high up on a cliff with spectacular views, where the pool is like an oasis.

The line up was something else as you can see:

16:00-17:00 2VILAS

17:00-18:30 JADEN THOMPSON

18:30-20:00 JESSE CALOSSO

20:00-21:30 TIGA

All in all we higly recommend Destino as one of the most beautiful outdoor venues, it boasts stunning views of Ibiza Town, Talamanca and Formentera, as well as a spectacular sunset we are sure you need to check out!
