After 3 years in the making, the Norwegian Trance Viking announces his third artist album called “Prism”.

The first cut to emerge from Orjan Nilsen’s forthcoming album ‘Prism’, ‘Million Miles Away’ sees the Viking draw from his bottomless well of inspiration to come up with something different. Showing off his artistic diversity as well as his peerless production skill, this hyper-catchy cut is an amazing forerunner for the rest of Orjan Nilsen’s upcoming body of work. Featuring a soothing male vocal and an exotic guitar melody, this song marks the official start of the summer, and subsequently, the festival season!

“I have always been a very brave kind of producer. I’ve experimented, have tried different styles, genres, techniques. No matter how much I love DJ-ing I will always be a producer first and I will never stop going over the barriers in music production. This is what PRISM is all about, its about exploring different points of view, different perceptions. Prisms have the unique ability to reflect light and disperse darkness into color. And this is exactly what I do through music – I express my feelings and my thoughts with it. I disperse the darkness, turn negatives into colors and reflect the light. Or at least I really try. “Prism” is a combination of the many stories I have and want to share with you. Singles do not create a storyline, so it was only natural to compile those in an album, which I will be releasing in 2 parts.”

Hot on the heels of dropping masterstroke single ‘Sunrise’ (feat. April Bender) to add considerable weight to his Armada Music comeback, Russian star ARTY immediately hits again with another shot of his trademark sound for the Amsterdam-based record label’s 15-year anniversary celebrations. Bearing the 15th anniversary stamp, ‘Rain’ emerges as both a solid offering and a telling precursor for the trove of phenomenal cuts ARTY intends to unleash throughout this year and the next.

Listen to ARTY – RAIN

Mesmeric and beautiful like a gentle drizzle on a warm spring day, ‘Rain’ offers a downpour of emotion no dance music fan can resist. Embellished by tiny synth drops and cascading melodies, this cut invigorates parties and nightlife scenes all over the world and will prove a fan favorite in no time.

ARTY: “Rain is my favorite weather by far, and I’ve always wanted to express my love for rain in a song. With ‘Rain’, I set out to describe the feeling of sadness and melancholy as well as the uplifting emotions that rain always brings me. It has less vocals and a bigger club vibe compared to its predecessor ‘Sunrise’, so people can enjoy the instruments surrounding the upbeat production.”

Born Artem Stoliarov (or Arty for short), ARTY is without doubt one of electronic music’s most consistent acts. After breaking into the scene in 2009 at the age of 19, he quickly began to turn heads across the dance music realm, releasing his music on a range of top-tier labels while churning out remixes for the likes of Halsey (‘Hurricane’ – over 47 million streams), OneRepublic, London Grammar, Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson and Years & Years. Now residing in Los Angeles, ARTY performs at the biggest festivals and clubs in the world (e.g. Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa, Amnesia Ibiza, Creamfields), clocks up millions of streams on Spotify and keeps his Trance roots alive by churning out top-drawer singles under his globally acclaimed ALPHA 9 moniker. ARTY is rightfully considered one of dance music’s hottest acts and ‘Rain’ shows exactly why.
